A technology called digital current control provides digital control of current by using a microcomputer called a power semiconductor, thereby offering improved power efficiency and cost savings. This technology is indispensable from many perspectives in building infrastructures and creating applications for the coming smart grid society.

That automobiles will go electric means that engines will be replaced by motors. We have motor testing systems used as motor evaluation tools, as well as motor control technology. By leveraging these assets, we provide a power management system for the entire electric vehicle, from the motor, which is the engine of the EV, to the motor controller, air conditioner and power windows. For these EV-related businesses, we consider the main market to be China where the move toward electric vehicles is particularly noticeable. We have formed partnerships with several local governments of China and launched projects to promote the use of electric vehicles in public transportation systems.

There are many different types of power supply unit. At Myway Plus, the focus is on the "regeneration" technology, which we use to develop new power supplies geared to a low-carbon society.
The regeneration technology allows you to reuse the power that is just consumed when the battery is used or the motor is driven in conventional power supplies. The use of this technology leads to reductions in the time, cost and energy consumption required for motor and battery performance tests.
In the longer term, we aim to build power recycling systems by applying the regeneration technology to cut power consumption at large-scale charging stations for electric vehicles that represent a next-generation mobility system.
